Learn How To Fly

“You can’t change how people treat you or what they say about you. All you can do is change how you react to it”. - Mahatma Gandhi

Making the choice to seek out therapy isn’t an easy decision. It means that you need or want to make changes in your life. Change can be scary & intimidating — fear of the unknown is usually more anxiety producing than the issue itself. I congratulate you on taking the first steps on this journey.

I offer my clients an empathic and non-judgmental environment to process and express your feelings. During your treatment, I may use multiple modalities in order to customize a good fit for each individual, couple, family, or group. This is in order to help you meet your goals for the future.

I have 10+ years experience in the field of social work specializing in trauma from abuse, invisible illness, chronic pain, women’s health (including endometriosis and auto immune issues), infertility, infant loss, relationships, and body image issues. From adolescents to adults my hope is to help you learn to love yourself first, so you can open yourself up to living the life you want to have.

I help my clients build self-esteem, healthy relationships, not define yourself by your illness or loss, create a new normal, and coping skills for life after trauma. Whether treating PTSD, anxiety, depression, and/or adjusting to one of the many changes in life: health diagnosis, infertility, infant loss, weight, relationship issues, dating violence/domestic violence, college/career change, empty nest/parenting support, and/or grief and loss.
